She is the lead ship in her class of Frigates. Named for US Marine Private First Class Fernando Luis Garcia, the first Puerto Rican Medal of Honor Recipient in the Korean War for action above and beyond the call of duty under enemy fire. Posthumously awarded. An American hero.

She is an Arleigh Burke Class guide missile destroyer. Named after US Marine Rafael Peralta during Iraq War. Petitioned for Medal of Honor, however, he was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross instead. An American hero.

She is a John P Bobo Class cargo ship. Named after US Marine First Lieutenant Baldomero Lopez. Awarded the Medal of Honor for action above and beyond the call of duty during the Korean War. An American hero.
USNS Cesar Chavez T-AKE-14
She is a Lewis and Clark class cargo ship named after Cesar Chavez, US Navy sailor during WWII before becoming a labor leader and civil rights activist.
USNS Dolores Huerta T-AO-214
She is a Lewis and Clark class replenishment oiler named after Dolores Huerta. A civil rights and labor leader who co-founded the United Farm Workers with Cesar Chavez.
